Fishing Reports: Steinhatchee

May 11th, 2011

April has been a great month! The weather has been nice for the most part, and the bite has been, about  as good as it gets! as you can tell from some of the pictures below. I have a had several days of limits to 20 to 25 keeper trout before 12:00 noon, The Redfish bite for me has been steady, with some nice limits,  some of the larger schools are now breaking up and spreading out, which makes it a little easier to catch for most,  May is a great month in our area, We'll continue to see cobia stroll through this month, May is one the best months to catch one, I will be doing a few cobia trips this month. The Trout and Redfish Bite will stay strong through the month of May, I still have weekend or two opened so dont forget to book you trip soon, I will also be Offering 2 person Sight fishing trips in my Tournament boat, (16ft Siver King). Wish me luck, Ill be heading to Sarasota for the next stop on the IFA Redfish tour at the end of this month! also Check me out on Facebook (Scott Allen Peters Jr) to keep up with Pictures of chartrers, and tournament standings.
