Fishing Reports: St. Marks

May 31st, 2011

May is almost over, but June is just getting started.  Trout fishing will remain solid all month.  It is getting hotter, and that will start to push the fish deeper.  Check spotty bottom in 4 to 6 feet deep.  Reds are shallow on the points and rocks.  May was an awsome cobia month, they will be around all summer.  All publc reefs are hot spots, and a live pinfish will be hard to beat.  There is also a bunch of spanish and kings outside of twenty feet deep.  Look for the bait schools. Scallop season starts early this year, June 25th.  I have not seen any in the St Marks area, yet, but stay tuned, if I do I will post.   We are booking guide trips for July, call if you need to go catch some fish. For the most recent report stop bt the shop on your way to the fish.  We have everything you need to go catch fish.  Normal schedule is Friday thru Monday, 7am till 4 pm.  Outside of the normal, if anyone needs anything, please just give me a call/text/email.  850 510 7919 or redfish@stmarksoutfitters.com.

Good Luck and be SAFE,
